At Gesu Catholic School, the integration of technology into their curriculum is considered to be an important tool for the growth of their students’ education. In their STREAM program, they aim to engage their students through the studies of science, technology, religion, art, and mathematics. This program allows the opportunity for kids to develop critical analytical skills, as well as prepare for careers in today’s society.
Jamestown Container was recently approached following the addition of a new laser cutter to the STREAM program. We were happy to help and donated hundreds of corrugated sheets to be used by the students in their classes!
Jamestown Packaging Designer, Luke Tercek, and Marketing Manager, Lexy Eickelman, were fortunate enough to be invited in and watch the kids put the sheets to work in creating abstract and innovative projects!
At Jamestown Container, we are dedicated to our community and enjoy opportunities to give back! We are very happy to have gotten to be a part of this program and encourage students to collaborate, innovate, and think outside the box!
